Section 45: Wiring in casing

If casing be used, i t shall be o f hard teak wood. Each conductor shall be laid in a separate groove, unless previous permission is obtained from the Electrical Engineer to Government to vary this condition. In no circumstances shall wires of unlike polari ty be laid in the same groove, no r, wires of the same polari ty belonging to the different circuits, A, B, or C. The cover shall be secured with screws. Casing shall not be used where i t is l iable to injury from weather or leakage of water, not shall i t be recessed into plaster.
