Section 60: Boilers, gas engines, etc

(1) Boilers , steam engines, gas engines and dynamos when used for the supply of electrici ty to such premises shall be such posit ions as shall be sanctioned by the Electrical Inspector to the Government . All necessary provisions shall be made for keeping the temperature of the engine room s within proper l imits.

(2) Oil or gas engines shall be placed in buildings adequately and continuously venti lated so that no explosive mixture of gas can accumulate.
