Section 82: Films, boxes, spools, etc

The Chhattisgarh Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1972State Rules of Chhattisgarh · 1952

(1) All cinematograph projectors shall be fi t ted with two fi lm boxes of non -inflammable material and of substantial construction to and from which fi lms shall be made to travel. Such boxes which shall be of approved size and construction, shall be made to close in such a manner as to prevent the passage of flame to the interior of the fi lm box .

(2) Spools shall be ei ther chain or gear driven and fi lms shall be wound upon spools so that the wound fi lm shall not at any t ime reach or project beyond the edges of the flanges of the spools.

(3) It shall not be necessary to have metal casing for spools in case of projectors using fi lms with acetate base.
