Section 16: Admission of members or transfer of shares before annual general meeting

The Chhattisgarh Co-Operative Societies Rules, 1962 DateState Rules of Chhattisgarh · 1961

No society shall admit member or transfer shares within forty-five days prior to the date of i ts annual general meeting on which election of the committee or office hearers is to take place:

Provided that if there is a provision of general meeting by delegates in the byelaws of any society, such society shall not admit members or transfer shares to the members within 45 days from the date of convening the meeting for the election of the delegates.
