The arbitration agreement shall be signed-

(a) ~n the~ c of an cmplo~cr. by the employer himself, or when the employer 1s an mcorpor 1 atcd ~01'.1pany or other body corporate, by the agent manager. or t 1cr pr111c1pal officer of the Corporation· ' 1[(b) in the ca ofworkm~n. by any officer of a trade unio'n of the workmen or b) fo . repre entat1ve of the workmen duly authorised in this behalf at a m tmg of the workmen duly held for the purpose.

E ·planation.- In tJ1i rule ·officer' means any of the following offi I

(a) the Pre ident; icers, name y:-

(b) the ic -President;

(c) dte . ecretary (including the General Secretary);

(d) a Jomt ecretary;

(e) any ?ther officer of the trade union authorised in this behalf by the Pre 1dent or Secretary of the Union.]
