The Chhattisgarh Irrigation Act 1931State Act of Chhattisgarh · Act 3 of 1931

(1) The State Government may :ctppoint a Canal Deputy Canal Deputy Collectors.

Collector to one or more divisions.

(2) A Canal Deputy Collector shall be subordinate to the Executive Engineer of any division to which he i; appointed.

(3) The State Government may inve,t a Canal Deputy Collector with any or all of the pDwers of a Sub-Divisional Officer under this Act, and may invest a Sub-Divisional Officer with all or any of the powers of a Canal Deputy Collector.
