Section 78: Preparation of return of election and declaration of result

Chhattisgarh Krishi Upaj Mandi (Mandi samiti ka nirvachan) Niyam, 1997State Rules of Chhattisgarh · 1973

(1) The Returning Officer shall prepare a return of election to the office of-

(a) Member in Form 25 on the basis of result sheet compiled in Form 22:

(b) Chairman in Form-26 on the basis of the result sheet compiled in Form 23 and 24.

(2) After preparing the return the Returning Officer shall declare the candidate elected who has received the largest number of valid votes.
