Section 48: Research

The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995State Act of Chhattisgarh · Act 1 of 1996

The appropriate Governments and local authorities shall promote and sponsor research, inter alia, in the following areas:—

(a) prevention of disability;

(b) rehabilitation including community based rehabilitation;

(d) job identification;

(e) on site modifications in offices and factories.
