Section 37: RetaiDUlg of the Sa.mple

The Seeds Rules 1968State Rules of Chhattisgarh · 1966

The sample of any seed shall, under clause (c) of sub-section

(2) of section 15, be retained under a cool, dry cnvitonment to_ eliminate the loss of viability and insect proof or rat proof container. The containers shall be dusted with suitable insec ticides and the storage room fumigated to avoid infestation of samples by insects. The sample shall be packed in good CJuality containers of uniform shape and si:z:e before storage.
