suspected of being stolen or unlawfully obtained and contail S.6 M.P. UPHAR VASTU (VIDHI VIRUDDHA .. 8ZA) ACT, 1965 satisfactorily account how he came by the same, he shall, on onviction, be punishable with imprisonment for a tern which may extend to two years, or with fine or with both.
4. Offences under the Act to be cognizable. () Not withstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Proce dure 1898 (Central Act No. V of 1898), any offence under this Act hall be deemed to be cognizable offence within the mearning of that Code.
(2) No Court below that of a Magistrate of the First Class shall try any offence under this Act.
