(I) The terms and conditions of service of the Chairman including the scales of pay and allowances payable to him shall be such as may be specified in his order of appoint payable and in the absence of being so specified, such terms and conditions shall be1s far as may be, the same as are applicable the Head of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) (Madhya Pradesh) Rules 1975 Bhopal, the 8th December 1975 No. 3816:-XXXIII.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 64 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (No.6 of 1974), the 'State Government, after consuitation with the State Board for the Preven - tion and Control of Water Pollution, hereby makes the following rules, namely:- ..

CHAPTER I - PRELIMINARY

1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Water (Prevention and Control of Madhya Pradesh Pollution) Rules, 1975.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the "Madhya Pradesh Gazette."
