Section 3: Tem1 of office of the members of the Committee

Child Labour (Prohibition & Regulation) Rules, 1988 (Principle Rules),Central Rules · 1986

(1) The term of office of the members of the Committee shall be one year from the date on which their appointment is notified in the Official Gazette:

Provided that the Central Government may extend the term of office of the member of the Committee for a maximum period of Lwo years:

Provided further that the member shall, notvvithstanding the expiration of his term, continue to hold office until his successor enters upon his office.

(2) The members appointed under sub-rule (1) shall be eligible for re­ appointment.
