BRO AD CASTIN G t N O TIFICATIO N New Delhi, the 30th October, 1995 G.S.R. 705(E).— In ^ercise o f the powers coni'errecl by section 8 o f tlie Cineiiiatograpli Act. 1952 (37 o f 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 1983, namely;—

1. Short title and comi-nmcemenl-.-~~(n These rules may be called the Cinematograph (Certifica tion) (2nd Amendment) Rules, 1995.

(2) They shall come into force with effect from M -9 6 .

2. In the Cinematograph (Ccrtificalion) Rules, 1983,— C\) in rule 22, after sub-rule (5), the follow ing sub-rule shall be insered, namely:--- “ (5A) Nothing in sub-rules {4) and (5) shall aliect the disclosure of names of per " sous in the certiiicate granted by the Board” .

(2) in rule 35, in sub-rule (1), after the word and letter 'Vir 'S’ ” the followlnt^ words and letters shall be substituted, nam ely:- ■V>r -U ’ or ‘V ;A ’ or ‘V|UA’ or ‘Y jS ’

(3) in rule 35, for the sub-n.ilc (3) and the Tablf^ thereunder, the following shall be substituted, namely;— “ (3) The prescribed mark o f the Board shall be a firm copy o f the ceilificate, that is, a trailer certificate, which .shall be afSxed to the film and always ex hibited with it. The trailer certificate shall be for such duration as one can read it on the screen:

Provided that Part 1 o f the certificate shall be shown for a minimum duration o f 10 seconds;

Provided further that if there are no excisions or modifications ordered by the Board, Part II o f the certificate need not be shown.”

(4) in the Second Schedule, for the Forms IV. IV -A .
