Section 23: Certification

Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 1983.Central Rules · 1952

On receipt of the record referred to in sub-rule (12) of rule 22, the Chairman, unless the provisions of sub-rule (1) of rule 24 are not attracted, direct the Regional Officer concerned to take further action on behalf of the Board in conformity with the recommendation of the Examining Committee either unanimous or by majority.

Provided that in case of a short film when the Committee is divided in its opinion, the Chairman shall either examine the film himself and take, or direct the Regional Officer concerned to take further action on behalf of the Board to give effect to his decision.
