Section 3: Appointment

Coast Guard (Condition of Service) Rules, 1986Central Rules · 1978

(1)The Central Government may appoint such persons as it considers to be suitable as officers in the Coast Guard. Officers shall be recruited in accordance with the recruitment rules for various categories of officers.

(2) Procedure for recruitment shall be as promulgated by the Central Government from time to time.
