Section 32: After Appendix II, the following Appendix shall be substituted, namely

“APPENDIX IIA [See rule 16(1) (b)] Form for claiming offender for trial under the Coast Guard Act, 1978 To _________________________ _________________________ Sir, Whereas I have been informed that a criminal case under Section ____________ has been instituted in your Court against _________________ (a) _________________ of the Coast Guard __________________ (b) __________________. The said (Name & Rank) is at present serving under my command and is liable to be tried under the Coast Guard Act, 1978, for the said offence.

In exercise of powers vested in me under Section 71 of the Coast Guard Act, 1978, I have decided that the said (Name & Rank) shall be tried under the Coast Guard Act, 1978.
