Section 25: Reversion

Coast Guard (Seniority and Promotion) Rules,1987Central Rules · 1978

Reversion is not a punishment and shall never be used as means of dealing with an offence but the character of an offence or offences for which an enrolled personnel has been punished may be such as to show that the individual professionally unsuitable for the rank he holds in which case consideration may be given to reversion under the procedure given below.
