Section 22: Penalty for violation of conditions of licence.

The Coastal Shipping Act, 2025Central Act · Act 20 of 2025

Whoever fails to comply with the conditions of licence granted under section 4 or section 11, shall be liable for penalty which may extend to ten lakh rupees, or two times the value of all fees or commission or payments received by the licensee of the vessel for all voyages conducted in contravention, whichever is greater, or with both, and the vessel shall also be liable for detention under section 29
