Section 27: Special provision regarding punishment.

The Coastal Shipping Act, 2025Central Act · Act 20 of 2025

Notwithstanding anything contained in section 23 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (46 of 2023), it shall be lawful for a Judicial Magistrate of the first class to pass any sentence provided under this Act on any person convicted of an offence under this Act.
