Section 14: Payment of fees

Fees may be paid up to a limit of $1000/- to a person associated by the Board or to a person co-opted as a member of a committee of the Board for special work of occasional or intermittent character, in furtherance of the objectives of the Board and in compliance with any of the provisions of the Act:

Provided that, the admissibility of fees and its quantum in each case will be decided in accordance with the relevant rules and orders framed by the Central Government.

Provided further that, fees beyond the limit of $1000/- to one person during a year can be sanctioned only with the prior approval of the Central Government.
