When the State Government so directs, any Registrar or any Sub-Registrar appointed under the 1* * * Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908), shall be deemed to be a Civil Court within the meaning of sections 345 and 346.1. The word "Indian" omitted by Act 56 of 1974, s. 3 and the Second Sch. (w.e.f. 20-12-1974).
