1. संिᭃ᭡ त नाम और ᮧारंभ.— (1) इन िनयमᲂ का नाम (मैसूर िव᭫ विव᳒ालय शता᭣ दी समारोह के अवसर पर ᭭ मारक िस के जारी करना) िस का िनमाᭅण िनयम, 2016 ह।ै
(2) ये राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकाशन कᳱ तारीख को ᮧवृᱫ हᲂगे।
2. िस कᲂ का अᳰंकत म᭨ू य.—मैसूर िव᭫ विव᳒ालय शता᭣ दी समारोह को मनान ेके िलए के᭠ ᮤ ीय सरकार के ᮧािधकार के अधीन जारी करन ेके िलए टकसाल मᱶ िन᭥ निलिखत अंᳰकत मू᭨ य के िस कᲂ का िनमाᭅण ᳰकया जाएगा, अथाᭅत् :-
(i) एक सौ ᱧपये;
(ii) पांच ᱧपये;
3. िस कᲂ कᳱ िवमाएं और सरंचना.— िनयम 2 मᱶ उिलिखत अंᳰकत मू᭨ य के िस के िन᭥ निलिखत िवमाᲐ और संरचना के अनᱨुप हᲂग,े अथाᭅत् :— 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] िस के का अंᳰकत मू᭨ य आकृित और बा᳭ ᭪ यास दांतᲂ कᳱ सं या धातु संरचना
(1) (2) (3) (4) एक सौ ᱧपये वृᱫाकार 44 िमलीमीटर 200 चतथुᭅक िम᮰ धात ु चांदी – 50 ᮧितशत तांबा -40 ᮧितशत िनकल – 05 ᮧितशत ज᭭ ता – 05 ᮧितशत पांच ᱧपये वृᱫाकार 23 िमलीमीटर 100 िनकल पीतल तांबा – 75 ᮧितशत ज᭭ ता – 20 ᮧितशत िनकल – 05 ᮧितशत
4. िडज़ाइन.—िस कᲂ का िडज़ाइन वह होगा जो इन िनयमᲂ कᳱ पहली अनुसूची मᱶ िविन᳸द᭬ ट ᳰकया गया ह।ै
5. मानक वजन तथा अनपुात छूट.—िन᭥ निलिखत अंᳰकत मू᭨ य के िस कᲂ का मानक वजन और ऐसे िस कᲂ को बनान ेमᱶ अनु᭄ात छूट वह होगी जो इन िनयमᲂ कᳱ दसूरी अनुसूची मᱶ िविन᳸द᭬ ट होगी। ᮧथम अनसुचूी (िनयम 4 देखᱶ)
(i) एक सौ ᱧपय े अᮕ भाग िस के के मुख भाग पर म᭟ य मᱶ अशोक ᭭ त᭥ भ का ᳲसह शीषᭅ होगा, िजसके नीचे ‘‘स᭜ यमवे जयत’े’ उ᭜ कᳱᳶणत होगा, उसकᳱ बायᱭ पᳯरिध पर देवनागरी िलिप मᱶ ‘‘भारत’’ श᭣ द और दायᱭ पᳯरिध पर अᮕंेजी मᱶ ‘‘INDIA’’ श᭣ द होगा और ᳲसह शीषᭅ के नीचे ᱧपया का ᮧतीक ” “ और अंतराᭅ᭬ ᮝीय अंकᲂ मᱶ अᳰंकत मू᭨ य ‘‘100’’ भी होगा। पृ᭬ ठ भाग िस के के इस भाग पर के᭠ ᮤ मᱶ ‘‘महाराजा कृ᭬ णाराजा वाडेयार IV’’ के िचᮢ के साथ “ᮓाफोडᭅ हॉल िबᳲ᭨ डग” कᳱ आकृित होगी। िस के कᳱ ऊपरी पᳯरिध पर देवनागरी मᱶ “मसैरू िव᭫ विव᳒ालय शता᭣ दी समारोह” तथा िनचली पᳯरिध पर अंᮕजी मᱶ “UNIVERSITY OF MYSORE CENTENARY CELEBERATIONS” उ᭜ कᳱᳶणत होगा। िस के कᳱ ᮓाफोडᭅ हॉल िबᳲ᭨ डग कᳱ आकृित के नीचे बायᱭ तथा दायᱭ ओर अंतराᭅ᭬ ᮝीय अंको मᱶ ᮓमशः “1916” और “2016” वषᭅ िलखा होगा।

(1) (2) (3) (4) एक सौ ᱧपये 35 ᮕाम चांदी मᱶ 1/500वां जोड़ कर या घटा कर अथाᭅत ् चांदी मᱶ ᮧित 1000 मᱶ 498 से 502 तक का अंतर हो सकेगा। 1/100वां जोड़ कर या घटा कर अथाᭅत् वजन मᱶ 34.65 ᮕाम से 35.35 ᮕाम तक का अंतर हो सकता ह।ै पांच ᱧपये 6 ᮕाम तांबा और ज᭭ ता दोनᲂ के िलए 1/100वां जोड़ कर या घटा कर अथाᭅत ् तांबे मᱶ 74 ᮧितशत से 76 ᮧितशत और ज᭭ ता मᱶ 19 ᮧितशत से 21 ᮧितशत का अंतर हो सकता ह ै तथा िनकल के िलए 1/200वां जोड़कर या घटाकर अथाᭅत ् िनकल मᱶ 4.5 ᮧितशत से 5.5 ᮧितशत का अंतर हो सकता ह।ै 1/40वां जोड़ कर या घटा कर अथाᭅत् वजन मᱶ 5.85 ᮕाम से 6.15 ᮕाम का अतंर हो सकता ह।ै [फा. सं. 02/40/2015-िस का] पंकज गु᭡ ता, अवर सिचव MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th August, 2016 G.S.R. 825(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011 (11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coins on the Occasion of “University of Mysore Centenary Celebrations”) Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of coins.—The coins of the following denominations shall also be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of “University of Mysore Centenary Celebrations”, namely:-
(i) One Hundred Rupees; and
(ii) Five Rupees 4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)]
3. Dimension and composition of coins.— The coins of the denominations mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the following dimensions and composition, namely:- Denomination of the coin Shape and outside diameter Number of Serrations Metal Composition

4. Design.— The design of the coins shall be as specified in the First Schedule to these rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.— Standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.
The First Schedule (See rule 4)
(i) ONE HUNDRED RUPEES OBVERSE:
The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “स᭜यमवे जयत”े inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English, and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “100” in international numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the image of “Crawford Hall building” along with portrait of “Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV” in the centre, with inscription "मैसरू िव᳡िव᳒ालय शता᭣दी समारोह” in Devanagari script and "UNIVERSITY OF MYSORE CENTENARY CELEBERATIONS” in English shall be written on the upper and lower periphery respectively. The year “1916” and “2016” in international numerals shall be written at left and right side, below the image of Crawford Hall building respectively.
(ii) FIVE RUPEES OBVERSE:
The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “स᭜यमवे जयत”े inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devanagri script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English, and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “5” in international numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:

1/100th plus or minus, that is to say, the weight could vary from 34.65 grams to
35.35 grams.
Five Rupees 6 Grams 1/100th plus or minus for Copper and Zinc, that is to say Copper could vary from 74 per cent to 76 per cent and Zinc from 19 per cent to 21 percent and 1/200th plus or minus for Nickel that is to say Nickel could vary from 4.5 per cent to
5.5 per cent.
1/40th plus or minus, that is to say, the weight could vary from 5.85 grams to
