(1) (2) (3) (4) पचास @पये 35 [ाम चांदी म� 1/500वां जमा या घटा अथा�त चाँदी के अंश म� )ित 1000 म� 498 से 502 तक का अंतर हो सकेगा । 1/100वां जमा या घटा अथा�त वजन म� 34.65 [ाम से 35.35 [ाम तक का अंतर हो सकता है । पांच @पये 6 [ाम तांबा और ज� ता के िलए 1/100वां जमा या घटा, अथा�त तांबे म� 74 )ितशत से 76 )ितशत और ज� ता 1/40वां जमा या घटा अथा�त वजन म� 5.85 [ाम से 6.15 [ाम का अंतर हो सकता ह ै। ¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 म� 19 )ितशत से 21 )ितशत का अंतर हो सकता ह ै तथा िनकल के िलए 1/200वां जमा या घटा अथा�त िनकल म� 4.5 )ितशत से 5.5 )ितशत का अंतर हो सकता है। [फा. सं. 02/16/2015-िस�ा) पंकज गु<ा, अवर सिचव (एस.पी.एम.सी. एवं िस�ा) MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th August, 2015 G.S.R.667(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of Section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011 (11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Coinage of Fifty Rupees and Five Rupees Coins to Commemorate the Occasion of “ GOLDEN JUBILEE OF INDO PAK WAR 1965 ” Rules, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of coins .- The coins of the following denominations shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of “GOLDEN JUBILEE OF INDO PAK WAR 1965 ”, namely:-
(i) Fifty Rupees;
(ii) Five Rupees.
3. Dimension and composition of coins .- The coins of the denominations mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the following dimensions and composition, namely:-
4. Design: - The design of the coins shall be as under:-
(i) FIFTY RUPEES OBVERSE: The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the center with the legend “स�यमेव जयते” inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery flanked with the Denomination of coin Shape and outside diameter Number of serrations Metal composition

Nickel - 05 per cent. 4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] word “INDIA” in English and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “50” in the international numerals below the Lion Capital. REVERSE: The face of the coin shall bear the image of "Amar Jawan" monument along with the design of olive leaves branch on its left and right sides at the centre, with the inscription "वीरता एवं ब�लदान" in Devnagri Script on the left upper periphery and "VALOUR & SACRIFICE" in English on the right upper periphery. The year "2015" shall be inscribed below the image of the monument. The inscription “1965 साम�रक अ�भयान का �वण� जयंती वष�” in Devnagri script on the upper periphery and “GOLDEN JUBILEE 1965 OPERATIONS” in English on the lower periphery shall be written on this face of coin.
(ii) FIVE RUPEES OBVERSE: The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the center with the legend “स�यमेव जयते” inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “5” in the international numerals below the Lion Capital. (5) Standard weight and remedy allowed.-The standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, coined to commemorate the occasion of “GOLDEN JUBILEE OF INDO PAK WAR 1965 ” and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Table, below:- TABLE Denomination of coin Standard weight Remedy allowed In composition In standard weight
