the Coinage of Five Hundred Rupees and Ten Rupees coins to commemorate the occasion of 3rd INDIA-AFRICA FORUM SUMMIT Rules, 2015.Central Rules · 2011

The coins of the denominations mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the following dimensions and composition, namely:— Denomination of the coin Shape and outside diameter Number of serrations Metal composition

(1) (2) (3) (4) Five Hundred Rupees Circular 44 millimeter 200 Quaternary Alloy Silver - 50 per cent.

Copper - 40 per cent.

Nickel - 05 per cent.

Zinc - 05 per cent.

Ten Rupees Circular 27 millimeter (Bi- metallic) --- Outer ring (Aluminium Bronze) Copper - 92 per cent.

Aluminum - 06 per cent.

Nickel - 02 per cent.

Center piece (Cupro Nickel) Copper – 75 per cent.

Nickel – 25 per cent.
