The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “W m’ inscribed below, flanked on the left upper periphery with the word “W’ in Devnagri script and on the right upper periphery flanked, with the word “INDIA” in English, and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol “?” and denominational value “50” in the International Numerals below the Lion Capitol.

(ii) Standard weight and remedy allowed.- The standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, coined to commemorate the occasion of “BHEL — 50 YEARS OF ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE” and the remedy allowed'1n making of such coins shall be as specified1n the Table below:
