RAMACHANDRAN BIRTH CENTENARY" N BIRTH CENTENARY" N BIRTH CENTENARY" N BIRTH CENTENARY" उB क _ण�त होगा। डe. एम.जी. रामच> �न के िचE के नीचे अंतरराX fीय अंक/ म� ''1917-2017'' अं�कत होगा। दसूरी अनुसूचीदसूरी अनुसूचीदसूरी अनुसूचीदसूरी अनुसूची (िनयम 5 दखे6) (िनयम 5 दखे6) (िनयम 5 दखे6) (िनयम 5 दखे6) िस�े का अं�कत मू�य मानक वजन अनुमत छूट संघटन म� मानक वजन म� (1) (2) (3) (4) एक सौ Oपये 35 bाम रजत म� 1/500वां िहA सा कम या अिधक अथा�त रजत के अंश म� +ित 1000 म� 498 से 502 तक का अंतर हो सकेगा । 1/100वां जमा या घटा अथा�त वजन 34.65 bाम से 35.35 bाम के बीच हो सकता ह ै। पांच Oपये 6 bाम तांबा और जA ता के िलए 1/100वां िहस् सा कम या अिधक अथा�त तांबा 74 +ितशत से 76 +ितशत और जA ता म� 19 +ितशत से 21 +ितशत तक हो सकता ह ै तथा िनकल के िलए 1/200वां िहA सा कम या अिधक अथा�त िनकल 4.5 +ितशत से 5.5 +ितशत तक हो सकता ह।ै 1/40वां िहA सा कम या अिधक अथा�त वजन 5.85 bाम से 6.15 bाम के बीच हो सकता ह ै। [फा. सं. 02/22/2016-िस�ा] डe. अिनल रंगा, िनदेशक ¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th September, 2017 G.S.R. 1147(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of Section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011 (11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage of One Hundred Rupees and Five Rupees coins to commemorate the occasion of Dr. M. G. Ramachandran Birth Centenary Rules,
2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
2. Denomination of Coins.- The coins of the following denominations shall also be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of DR. M. G.
RAMACHANDRAN BIRTH CENTENARY, namely:—
(1) One Hundred Rupees;
(2) Five Rupees.
3. Dimension and composition of coins.- The coins of the above denominations mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the following dimensions and composition, namely:— Denomination of the coin Shape and outside diameter Number of Serrations Metal Composition

4. Design.- The design of the coins shall be as specified in the First Schedule to these rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed. – The Standard weight of the coins of the One Hundred Rupees and Five Rupees coined to commemorate the occasion of Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Birth Centenary and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.
First Schedule (See Rule 4) ONE HUNDRED RUPEES OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “स�यमेव जयत”े inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “ भारत ” in Devnagari script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “100” in International Numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the portrait of “Dr. M. G. RAMACHANDRAN” in the centre, with inscription "डॉ.
एम. जी. रामच�ंन ज�म शता�द�" in Devnagari on upper periphery and "DR. M. G. RAMACHANDRAN BIRTH CENTENARY” in English on the lower periphery of the coin. The year “1917-2017” in international numeral shall be flanked below the portrait of Dr. M. G. Ramachandran.

This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “स�यमेव जयत”े inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “ भारत ” in Devnagari script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “5” in International Numerals below the Lion Capitol.

1/100 th plus or minus that is to say weight could vary 34.65 grams to 35.35 grams.
Five Rupees 6 grams 1/100 th plus or minus for Copper and Zinc, that is to say Copper could vary from 74 per cent to 76 per cent and Zinc from 19 per cent to 21 per cent and 1/200 th plus and minus for Nickel that is to say Nickel could vary from 4.5 per cent to 5.5 per cent.
1/40 th plus or minus, that is to say, the weight could vary from
5.85grams to 6.15 grams.
