The standard weight of the coin of above denomination coined to commemorate the occasion of VIKRAM SARABHAI BIRTH CENTENARY YEAR and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.
First Schedule (See rule 4) ONE HUNDRED RUPEES OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend ““““स�यमेवस�यमेवस�यमेवस�यमेव जयतेजयतेजयतेजयते”””” inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word ““““भारतभारतभारतभारत”””” in Devanagri script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English and it shall also bear the Rupees symbol “`̀̀̀” and denominational value “100” in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of coin shall bear the portrait of Vikram Sarabhai in the center with the inscription “िव�म साराभाई ज� मिव�म साराभाई ज� मिव�म साराभाई ज� मिव�म साराभाई ज� म शता� दीशता� दीशता� दीशता� दी वष� वष� वष� वष�” in Devanagri script and “VIKRAM SARABHAI BIRTH CENTENARY YEAR” in English shall be written on the top periphery and lower periphery of the coin. The year “1919-2019” shall be written in international numeral at the bottom of the portrait of Vikram Sarabhai.
