The standard weight of the coins of above denomination coined to commemorate the occasion of the 250th Session of Rajya Sabha and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.
The First Schedule (See rule 4) TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY RUPEES OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “स�यमेव जयते” inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “ भारत ” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “250” in international numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the image of Parliament House with National flag on top and seating arrangement of Rajya Sabha Chamber along with the portrait of “Mahatma Gandhi" in the centre. The inscription “ रा�य सभा का 250 वां स� ” in Hindi is depicted on upper periphery of the coin and “250 TH SESSION OF RAJYA SABHA” in English is depicted on lower periphery of the coin respectively. The year 2019 in international numerals shall be written below the image of Parliament House.
