Section 2: Nature of contempt to be indicated

Every application,reference or motion for taking proceedingsunder the Contemptof CourtsAct, 1971 shall mention at the head whether it relates to the Commissionof 'Civil Contempt' or 'CriminalContempt':

Provided that, if there are allegationsbothof commission of Civil Contempt and Criminal Contemptagainst the same person/persons,two separate applications shall be moved, one dealing with Civil Contemptand the other with Criminal Contempt.
