I. Short title and commencement.--(l) These rules may be called the Department oflnfonnatlOn Technology, Mimstry ofCoJl1munic.Jlions and Information Technology, Controller of Certifying Authorities, Gazetted and Non-Gazetted posts Recruilment Rules, 2009.
(2) They shall come into force on the datc of their publication in the Official Gazette.

5. Disqualification.-J\o person.
(a) who bas entered intu or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or
(b) who, having a spouse living. has entered into or c.ontracted a marriage with any person, shali be cligible for appointment to any of the said posts;
Provided that the Central Govemmcnt may, if satisfied Ihat such marriage is pennissible under personal law applicable to such person dHJ the otli\.r parry to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
