Section 2: Interpretations

(I) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,

(a) ··Act means the Copyright.Act, 1957 (14 of 1957):

( b) "Board" means a Copyright Board as defined tn sub-section (I) of section I I;

( c) ··copvnght busmcss" means the business ofissuing or grantinf?licence in respect of a right or set or rights m specific acts in respect or a work or any substantial part thereof referred to m section H and includes the functions referred to in sub-section (3) of section 34:

(d) "Form means a Form set out in the First Schedule:

(e) "Schedule" means a Schedule to these rules: and (/) "section" means a section of the Act

(2) Word and expressions used herein but not defined and defined in the Copyright Act

19.57, shall have the meanings rcspcctivclv assigned to them in that Act.
