Section 67: Welfare fund of copyright society

Every Copyright society may frame a scheme for the welfare of its members as determined by its General Body and keep not more than five per cent. of its total royalties collected for implementingthe scheme effectively and the amount that could not be distributed on account of non-accessibility of the members concerned.

Provided that the Central Government may allow registration of a society for performers'of different classes of performers' in cases where the performances are inter-connected or closely related to each other.
