Section 3: Salary and a l lowance

Cyber Appellate Tribunal (Salary, Allowances and Other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson and Members) Rules, 2009Central Rules · 2000

(1) The Chairperson and the Member shall be paid such salary and allowances, as are admissible to a Secretary to the Gove-nment of Jndia, including all the benefits that a Secretary is entitled to:

Provided thai in the case of appointment of a person as the Chairperson or the Member as the case may be, who has retired as a Judge of the Supreme Court of a High Court or who has retired from service under the Central Government or a State Government and who is m receipt of. or has received, or has become entitled to recetve any retirement benefits by way of pension, gratuity.

employees contribution to Contributory Provident Fund cr other forms of retirement benefits, the pay of audi Chairperson or the Member, as the case maybe, shall be reduced by the gross amount of pension or employer's contribution to the Contnbutory Provident Fund or any other form o f retirement benefit, rf any, drawn or to be drawn by him:

Provided further that In case a retired Judge of a Supreme Court or a High Court is appointed as the Chairperson or the Member, as the case maybe, the terms and conditions of service of such Chairperson or Member shall be in accordance with the instructions issued by the Ministry of Finance in respect of appointment of Judges to various Tribunals and m consultation with that Ministry
