Section 23: Panchayat Secretary to intimate date of meeting

(1) The Panchayat Secretary shall, at least five clear clays before the date fixed for any ordinary meeting and at least two clear days before the date of special meeting, send or cause to be sent to the Upa-Sarpanch and all members of Gram Panchayat, notice of the place, date and time and the business to be transacted at such meeting.

(2) A copy of the notice along with the details of the business to be transacted shall also be exhibited on the notice board of the Gram Panchayat.
