Section 45: Continuance of meeting

(1) Where the business in a meeting of Gram Panchayat is left undisposed, the person presiding at the meeting may, with the consent of the members present, adjourn the meeting to a subsequent date and time.

(2) The decision of the next date of such meeting shall be taken in that very meeting, otherwise the notice of the adjourned meeting shall be given in.the manner specified in rule 23.

(3) No other fresh business shall be transacted at such adjourned meeting.
