Section 50: Appeal against deemed vacancy

(1) Any dispute as to whether a vacancy has occurred or not under rule 49 shall be referred for decision to the Collector of the District, who shall decide and make an Order in writing in the matter, after making such inquiry as he may deem proper, within thirty days.

(2) Any person aggrieved with the decision of the Collector of the District under sub- rule (1), may prefer an appeal within thirty days from the said decision, to the Administrator, whose decision shall be final.
