The Daman and Diu Panchayat Regulation, 2012Union territory Regulations of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu · 2012

(1) The time and place of meetings of the District Panchayat and the procedure to be followed at such meeting shall be such as may be prescribed.

(2) A member of the District Panchayat may, at any meeting , move any resolution and put question to the President or the Vice-President on matters connected with the administration of the District Panchayat in the manner prescribed.

(3) No resolution of the District Panchayat shall be modified , amended, varied or cancelled by the District Panchayat within a period of three months from the data of passing thereof except by a resolution supported by two-thirds of the total number of members of the • District Panchayat.
