Section 4: Presumption as to poisonous substances

The Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940Union territory Act of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu · Act 26 of 1940

Any substance specified as poisonous by rule made under Chapter II or Chapter or Chapter IVA shall be deemed to be a poisonous substance for the purpose of Chapter III or Chapter IV or Chapter IV-A, as the case may be.
