1. Short title a:nd Commencement. - i) These rules may be called the Government of Goa, ·Daman and Diu, Directora~e .of Fisheries, Group 'C' and Group 'D', non-ministerial, non-gazetted posts Recruitment (First Amendment) Rules 1981.
ii)They shalf come into force at once.
2. In the Schedul~attached to the said Notification against the post of Assistant Superintendent of Fisheries at Sr. 3, for the existing entry in column 7 substitute:

Notification 2-1-81-FSH (iii) , In exer'cise of the powers conferred by clause (h)· of section 2 of . the Maririe Fishing Regulation Act, 1980 (3 of 1981), the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu hereby specifies an area of 5 kilometers from the coast in the sea along the entire coastline of the Union Territory as the 'specified area' for the pur poses of the said Act.
