Section 49: Recovery of compensation

The Goa, Daman and Diu Buildings ( Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1968Union territory Act of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu · Act 2 of 1969

Any compensation awarded or fine imposed by any authority under this Act shall be paid by the person concerned within such time as may be allowed, and in default of such payment the amount shall be recoverable as an arrear of land revenue, or in such other manner as may be prescribed.
