Section 9: Alteration of chit agreement

(1) The chit agreement shall not be altered, added to or cancelled except with the consent in writing of the foreman and all the subscribers to the chit:

Provided that such alterations, additions or cancellation shall be subject to the provisions of this Act and the Rules made thereunder.

(2) Every chit agreement as altered or added to or an agreement to cancel chit agreement as provided for in sub-section (1) shall he filed by the foreman with the Registrar with its duplicate and thereafter provisions of sub-section (2) of section 6 shall apply as in the case of original agreement filed in accordance with sub-section (1) of the said section.
