Section 59: General provision for punishment of offences

The Goa, Daman and Diu Highways Act, 1974Union territory Act of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu · Act 10 of 1974

Whoever contravenes any provision of this Act or of any rule or order made thereunder shall, if no other penalty is provided for the offence under this Act, on conviction, be punished—

(a) for a first offence with fine which may extend to fifty rupees,

(b) for a subsequent offence with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees.
