Section 6: Validation of acts of Life Insurance Corporation

Anything done or any action taken by the Life Insurance Corporation of India in Goa, Daman and Diu which would have been validly done or taken had the Insurance Act, 1938, and the Life Insurance Corporation Act, 1956, been in force in that Union territory when such thing was done or action was taken shall, notwithstanding anything contained in any corresponding law repealed by the Goa, Daman and Diu (Laws) Regulation, 1962, or this Regulation, be deemed to have been validly done or taken.
