Section 18: Protection of persons acting in good faith and limitation of suits and prosecutions

The Goa, Daman and Diu Livestock Improvement Act, 1972Union territory Act of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu · Act 5 of 1973

(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall be instituted against any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or the rules.

(2) No suit shall be instituted against the Government and no prosecution or suit shall lie against any Livestock Officer in respect of anything done or alleged to have been done, in pursuance of this Act, unless the suit or prosecution has been instituted within four months from the date of the act complained of.
