The authority prescribed under subsection (1) of section 10, the Tax Officer or any officer empowered in this behalf by the Government may, by order, require any operator to produce such accounts, registers and documents, and to furnish such information relating to the stage carriages 19[ ] or the fares and freights or luggage or goods transported, collected in respect of passengers travelling therein, as may be specified in the order.
