Section 16: Declaration of certain animals and birds as vermins

The Government of Goa, Daman and Diu may, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare any wild animal or wild bird, other than those specified in Schedule I to be vermin in any specified area and it shall not be necessary to hold a licence to hunt any such animal or bird in such area.
17. The provisions of sections 27 and 28 shall apply in relation to game as they apply in relation to a trophy.
