For the purpose of preserving or protecting the rare species of wild animals and wild birds, protecting such animals and birds during the breeding season and for any similar purpose, the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu may, by notification in the Official Gazette, add to or alter any of the Schedules and any such addition or alteration shall have effect as if it had been made by this Act.
