In this part, "notified' ,disease" means, any disease which: the Government may, from time to time,by notification, declare to be a notified disease for the purpose of this part, either generally throughout the Union t~rritory or in ,such part or parts thereof as, may be specified in the noti~, :fication. .,,', ' , (3) The He8lth Officer shall, when any such bUild· ing or place ceases to be occupied or :used for any of the purposes aforeeaId, cause it to be thoroughly disinfected and cleaned.
