(a) in sub-rule (I), for clause (it), the following clause shall be substituted, namely ;— "(H) The licence issued in Form LTO shall be valid for a period of 5 years in the first instance and shall be renewable every five years thereafter."
(b) in sub-rule (2), for the words "two thousand rupees" occurring at the end, the words "five thousand rupees , shall be substituted;
(c) sub-rule (12) shall be deleted
(d) for clause (d) of sub-rule 14, the following clause shall be substituted, namely :
"(d) The licensee shall possess and maintain fully furnished office with adequate staff to attend to the needs of the customers and to look after their luggage and shall maintain records containing complete particulars regarding names and addresses of the tourists,, and the fere collected from each of a group of travellers the particulars of journeys and the particulars of contract carriage for the journey and shall furnish to the licensing authority who issued the licence, a monthly return based on the information available with them."
(e) for clause (h) of sub-rule (14), the following clause shall be substituted, namely : - "(h) The licensee shall undertake to maintain an officer under the charge of a full tune member who should be in a position to give accurate and up to date information."

Whereas it is imperative for these emergency vehicles to reach their destination in time in the interest of public order, safety and security and to ensure free passage to these emergency vehicles.
Therefore, in exercise of'the powers conferred by Section 115 read with clause (41) of Section 2 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, on bemg satisfied that it is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted movement of Emergency Vehicles such as Ambulances. Fire Engines, Police Patrol Vans and vehicles of Transpor. Department, Government ofNCT ofDelhi and in the interes; M safety of the general public in Delhi/New Delhi areas, does hereby, order that the extreme right lane on roads having iree or more lanes will be used by emergency vehicles like Fire Brigades, Ambulances, PCR Vans or vehicles of Transport Department, Government ofNCT of Delhi while they are attending emergencies. These emergency vehicles wher.
using the extreme right hand lanes in emergency indicated by a siren and flashing of lights will have the overriding right of way. All other categories of vehicles will vacate the extreme right lane by moving to the left of the road/street.
This notification shall be valid till March 31,2012.
