Section 2: Definitions. , (1) 111 these rules, unless the context otherwise requires

(a) ‘Aet‘ means the Delhi Commission [or Safai Karatnchuris Act, 2006 (Delhi Act 1 N0. ()7 nt‘2006); _

(h) ‘Chairperson’ means the Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Safai Karatneharis appointed under section 3 of the Act;

(e) ‘Commission‘ means the Delhi Commission for Safai Karamehat'is constituted under section 3 OFthe Act;

((1) ‘Dethi‘ means the National Capital Territory of Delhi;

(0) ‘Finaneial Year’ means the year beginning on lst April and ending on 31‘1 March following;

(1) ‘l’orm’ means form appended to these rules; ~ ’ i

(g) ‘ Jovemment’ means the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital 'l‘erritm‘y 0f ‘ Delhi as referred to clause (d) of section 2 0fthc Act; 1

(h) ‘Metriber’ means PartTime Member appointed under section 3 ofthe Act;

(2) The werds and expressions used in these rules btit not defined herein shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
